About

Erica Conway, Home Coach

My mission is to make the world a better place by connecting with people in a deep and meaningful way.

My goal is to help homeowners to create a space that makes them feel exactly the way they want to feel at home.

My method involves using compassion, trust, and deep listening to support my clients in using mindfulness, goal-setting, and action to create their ideal space.

A little about myself:

As you can probably decipher from this 1987 illustration, I grew up a few standard deviations away from center. I created this locker plan before starting high school, because feeling organized made me feel in control. If I knew how I wanted things to look, I could make a plan and put it into action, creating a future that was, if nothing else, as predictable as possible. I eventually grew up and learned that life is not predictable or controllable. And it certainly didn’t give a hoot if you had plans drawn out in a spiral notebook. Today, I have grown to allow life and the universe to bestow its gifts upon me. I value equanimity over control. I am still very goal-oriented, but I “write my goals in the sand at low-tide” (one of my favorite quips).

While my philosophy has changed, I am grateful for the skills I developed as a child:

  • I have an eye for organization.
  • I can feel the energy of a space and know what it needs, or doesn’t need.
  • My personal growth in letting go of control and perfectionism allows me to have deep compassion for all people who are struggling on their own path.
  • My yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices allow me to listen deeply to my clients. I believe that all people, above all else, want to be seen and heard. By truly listening, we can create an action strategy to complete any project in the home.
  • I work hard and at a quick pace. Most home projects are delayed because of a lack of time. Working together, we can make it happen quickly and efficiently, saving both time and money.
